Scaffold Stairway & Towers
A competent person shall ensure the following guidelines are met when stairways & towers are used.
- The unit shall be positioned such that their bottom step is not more than 24 inches above the scaffold supporting level.
- Must have a standard barrier installed (42" rail, mid-rail, 4" toe kick, 200 lb. capacity).
- A landing platform at least 18 inches wide by at least 18 inches long shall be provided at each level.
